I got a 98 ranger for my dad for a work truck, its been sitting for about 8 months, ran/drove fine when parked, I havent had time to dive into it yet, but
when I push the clutch in the brake pedel goes down about a half inch with it. then when I get the clutch pedel to the floor it sticks unless I push the brake. I sprayed a little lube on the assembly and it seemed to free up a bit. Pedal has plenty of pressure and will engage like it should if I persuade the pedal.
anyone hear of a problem like this? are these pedal assemblies a weak link in these trucks? thanks in advance.
