We were talking about this today at work. One of the guys said that Walmart already has theres.

Guess what they only got 10 of them. So you need to be there tommorow morning camping out to get one on Thursday/Friday at 12:00am

its open 24 hours, if i were you i would lounge in the patio furniture ...lol...
or if you have someone on the inside (which i remember reading someone on here knows someone that works there) you would have them either go in with you, or go in that night when they are working and have them hold on to one for you...its not all that hard...:sure:

i remember last year somebody on cii or cid was sayin how when all the 360s were sold out everywhere, this one little store had one cuz nobody expected a place like that to have em. anybody remember what it was?

Well I know a store MGR in Peoria, there is no holding them, there is no employee holding one, you have to camp out for about 48 hours, never leaving but to go to the bathroom, you have to have a friend hold you spot so you can poop, then back in line, the Allen Rd Wallymart had a huge fight when the lucky 15 got thier 360's, police were called in, the "hood" was waiting in the parkinglot, was a real fight at the doors, people pissed off, fighting and such, ever see the women fighting over Barbies dolls in the early 90's at the stores, they would RUN into the store and fight over Barbies, yes I was there one day trying to get one, it was like fight'n dudes...........

walmart already has their's in, morton and washington only got 2 60gb and 2 20gb at each store so if you are not one of the first 4 at each store your standing there for no reason.

I was going to get one...but I ended up buying a 360 over the summer.

I'm pretty sure there were 500,000 units all together to split up between Japan and here. Europe has to wait till March 07'. I want one more then I want to breathe right now. But theres no way I'm gunna be getting one anytime soon.:why:

What no Nintendo Wii? I'm planning on getting one. It's only $250, Nintendo plans to ship 4 million of them prior to Christmas (so no standing in line on release day), and all the reviews say it is going to change the way people think of gaming. It may not be blue ray with optional Eleventybazillion giigga byte hard drivez with the upgraded t-3 modification, but you know what? it has the bass that I need! :)

I just got done playing the game, off road truck racing, what a game to play, nice system for sure, can't wait till the first "joe" needs to pawn one off, I will have one then, not paying $600 for one, maybe $400 like a XBox 360, but yes I saw one PS3 go for $6000 on ebay last night with free overnight shipping, nice chunk of change was made on that deal

I'd take a console to game on any day over a computer. PS2 had a shelf life of 6 years......great games are still coming out for it.

Take a machine you built 6 years ago and try to play any new PC game on it.....

They don't yank your account, just slap on hand is it, that is why so many people abuse it, been on there since 1996, Ebay sucks in so many ways, but PAYPAL really sucks since Ebay bought it........This is my opinion since I have been with it from the the start and seen all the changes....They will refund your listing and auction fees if your file a compliant but the deadbeat bidder will not be off Ebay, just warned 5 million times

Sooner or later, as in next april maybe? The original shipment of PS3's was supposed to be 400,000 and its rumored that number was cut in half (wal-mart was supposed to get 10 60gig PS3s, and only got 2) My guess is you wont see them instores for several months

I laugh at all the Ebay Scum. Too bad Sony is in fact shipping this week another 100,000 units.

Due to arrive in stores by Thursday, I hope all these non-gamers, Egay scum that bought the unit hoping to flip a cool $5,000 or more on it, settle themselves into selling it for cost. Because at 366pages of listings and more units on the way to the stores, the people "gamers" you actually want one to own one will be able to buy them soon enough.

Ok so 100,000 units.....you're talking 1-2 per store. I can think of maybe 15 stores in the peoria area alone that sell PS3s (Best Buy, Circuit City, 3-4 EBgames/Gamestops, 3-4 Wal-Marts, Target, K-mart, Etc) Thats 30is PS3s more in this area.....There are more than 30 people that want a PS3 in this area (as an example)
