my opinion is that the mustang is one of the best sounding exhausts. so you may be disappointed in ur results
What sounds "best" to one person isn't all that great for the next, I've come to realize over the years, so it's tough for me to make any one specific suggestion; rather, I suggest you stop by the shop sometime for a free inspection. We can raise it up on the rack, see what you have to work with, and go from there.

What you can at least do is try and set something up with a deep, smooth sound. Most 4cyl guys absolutely crash and burn FAIL on that. But I've heard 2 or 3 in my day that actually had a nice smooth purr throughout the RPM range.
First off, if its N/A... you DON'T need a full 3" exhaust. You don't. Period.
Stick with the stock sized piping, get a better flowing muffler with a larger casing (not a round can style, it will tuck behind your back bumper anyway) and you might have to experiment with resonators to take the buzzy rasp out. But that is what it will probably take to sound nice.
Look up "BMW M3 Rasp Pipe" and listen to the before/after sound clips on youtube. Something like that is what you want.
By the way, this is the tech section, keep the BS out. You've all been warned. If your post is gone you know damn well why.
