dont you have to turn your key to the on position when doing this? Not starting it just turning the key forward?

we pretty much do that ( what the site does) but use a regulator to put so much pressure in it and hten shut your supply off and then see if your pressure drops or stays

make a tight fitting around the turbo usually with a boot of some sort and fill it full of air....

bad things will happen... I usually take mine up too about 10-15 psi...

doing a test like this will find big leaks but you can't get them all. A boost leak test will put components under a non-normal state of HOLDING pressure unlike the normal moving air around.... You may have to cap off a few things like on a stock SRT we have to cap off the PCV valve.... Best of luck thou.

People sell boost leak testers on dsm forums all the time..
i think a kid is selling one on Chitowndsm now.
