so when i play a game of madden against either my friends or on live ill be a couple quarters in and EVERYTIME it says... CANNOT READ DISC and then goes back to the dashboard... maybe i need an xbox???? the disc in in decent shape cuz i never take it out

some of the xboxes had a problem with scratchin discs, you should check again. mine does that to me once in a while (cant read disc) but if i turn it off and back in, its always fine. and its always right when its tryin to load the game, never happened in the middle. is it under warranty?

nope... i bought it like right after they came out and its been fine til now... dunno what ima do cuz it does it during every game around 2nd or 3rd quarter haha

My x-box 360 has never done that but my Playstation2 did it all the freakin time and it drove me nuts!

that's what i do and it usually fixes it.

problem solved... took the game to family video... they clean discs for 1.99 and ive played some full games since
